Open My Eyes

his Sunday, we’re bringing our ELISHA series to a powerful close! Over the past few weeks, we’ve watched God call Elisha from the plow, carry the mantle forward, and move through his life in extraordinary ways. But for our GRAND FINALE, we’re looking at one of the most unforgettable moments in his story.

Elisha and his servant wake up to find themselves completely surrounded by an enemy army. Horses. Chariots. Soldiers. From everything they could see, the situation looked impossible. But Elisha saw something his servant couldn’t...“Don’t be afraid… Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” — 2 Kings 6:16

Then Elisha prayed one simple prayer: “Open his eyes, Lord, so that he may see.” And suddenly, the servant saw what had been there all along—the hills were FULL of horses and chariots of fire. Sometimes the greatest thing God can do isn’t immediately change what’s around us—it’s change what we can see.
